Meet Kellie

CF-L1

Hey, my name is Kellie Lauzon. I graduated with my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling with an Emphasis in Trauma in 2020. I work as a counselor in a local counseling office and love every second of my job. I love to be outside. I moved from Cleveland, Ohio in 2012, so any landscape other than corn fields has a special place in my heart. I have a tripod dog named Maverik who is my pride and joy and the goodest boy I know. When I am not coaching, you can usually catch me dancing to the music or working on mobility. I love the people here and I am incredibly blessed to get to workout alongside them everyday.
I have never been athletic. I didn’t do sports growing up and I didn’t play kickball during recess. When my friends asked me to come to CrossFit, I successfully dodged them for over a year. After I was done with school I finally decided to try a month. Boy did I have quite the surprise. Walking in those doors gave me a new passion, a new family, new ways to view hardship, and the mental challenge of a lifetime. I was at Anistemi for less than 3 months before I realized this was going to be a lifelong discipline of mine. This passion led me to receive my Level 1 Certification with CrossFit. I love people and love to help others work towards their potential. There are multiple ways in which to move forward in physical health and joining CrossFit is a wonderful first step. I have a passion for understanding how CrossFit can help each population, size, shape, and injury. I am still learning everyday, and I look forward to helping others understand how their bodies can benefit from CrossFit.
